    PurposeThe Commercial Support Team underpins key activity across the Shaw Trust Commercial Team. The team is responsible for commercial governance, growth forecasting, and opportunity capture, as well as supporting the securing of funding for new services and the sustainability of existing delivery.

    The Commercial Support Manager plays a pivotal role, acting as Project Lead for Commercial Governance and supporting bids, direct awards, and contract variations. The role is also responsible for creating and maintaining critical commercial data and reports, leading commercial systems development, and driving efficiencies and best practice across commercial processes and procedures.

    This role sits within the Commercial Directorate as part of the Commercial Support Team and offers a strong development pathway towards a Senior Management or Head of Service position.

    You will have:

    • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in a commercial, business development, governance, or related discipline
    • Experience of using procurement portals
    • Significant experience in a commercial, business development, bid, or governance-focused role
